Naira Marley arrest: EFCC playing our song when they arrested us - Zlatan (video)


Few days after the rapoer was released from Economic
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) custody, the Yoruba rap star, Zlatan Ibile, talk about his experience with EFCC and that of his colleague, Naira Marley.

The rapper recently had an
interview with Oyebade Abby of The Fuzzy in Lagos Nigeria and he spoke about what had really played out on the way they were picked up with his  colleague by officers of the EFCC.

Zlatan further said that the whole event played out on his colleague (Naira Marley) birthday while they were all at home celebrating the birthday ahead. He said after he had shared pictures of the Naira Marley (the celebrant) on his social Instagram page, he went inside his apartment to get some rest.

however, his rest was cut short by the EFCC officers after someone came to bang at his door and he opened up to people dressed in red
jackets with EFCC written on their jackets.

Zlatan said the sight of the officers reminds him the music titled "Am I A Yahoo Boy" which he features Naira Marley made him wonder if the arrest scene that was played in the video was really coming to life.

Sharing further, the rapper said the officers made their way into his room and take up some of his gadgets before they headed back to the EFCC office.

he said while they were on their way, the officers made sure to they played some of their popular songs like Am I Yahoo Boy, Able God etc.

Responding to a question asked by duzz, the  interviewer about how the possibility of his post on social media could have led to they arrest, the Leg work crooner said he could not really identify
what led to the arrest, he then said that life comes with so many challenges especially if you are headed to the top.

On whether he is truly a yahoo boy, the rapper teasingly asked if he shares any semblance with an internet fraudster.

Still on Zlatan the legwork crooner's story, Trends24ng.com.ng earlier reported that Zlatan write an emotional solidarity letter to his colleague Naira Marley who is still being held by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He also promised to keep a  very strong hold on the fort while the storm blows final.
